The importance of proper hydration for good functional condition of the body and to have fresh throughout the day

The importance of Proper Hydration is scientifically proven by medicine and a normal person with good health must drink three liters of liquid a day.

Water is plays a major role in vital human functions, such as breathing, digestion, elimination, blood circulation, temperature control, kidney regulation, brain health, joint and spine function, eyesight, healthy hair and nails, and flushing toxins from the body…to name a few. Sound familiar? Those functions are also connected to your thyroid.

Dehydration leads to a lowered amount of blood in the body. The heart must pump harder in order to get the blood’s oxygen to muscles and tissues.

Dry skin
Dry mouth
Low blood pressure
Increased heartbeat
Muscle cramps
Kidney stones, etc.

Dehydration hinders thyroid functioning. Water is necessary to flush toxins and waste out of the body. Together with the minerals (mostly Ca, Mg and Zn), which are primarily extracted from the skin and bones, water responds much like a fire department to buffer any irritation raging in your body. Dehydration is a known cause for a decreased metabolic rate.

Knowing the importance of water, we can create shortcuts that would remind us to hydrate:
How much water should drink per person for a day depends on many factors – weight, physical condition, the environment in which he lives and works, etc.

Good hydration of the day

Keep a large, preferably glass water bottle next to your bed and take a few sips immediately after you wake up. Feel free to jazz it up with lemon juice, cucumbers, mint or fresh berries.

Keep a glass bottle of water with you throughout the day.    Consume fresh fruits and vegetables every day. Have fruit for breakfast every day and make one of your meals a salad, for example.

Write these resolutions down on a piece of paper and post it on your refrigerator.
Set up a periodic reminder on your phone.
